Bernhard is a specialist for IT related and more advanced access control setups and security configurations.
Raised in Germany, he founded Kisi when he was dissatisfied with the security at his old company, on the principle that access control should be modern, easy to use, and incredibly secure. When he’s not toiling away at the office, he can be found taking care of his daughter and two cats.
Experienced with setting up Kisi in thousands of offices, Jaime knows the in and outs of the technology and every possible error that can arise.
Outside of work he can be found watching the Star Wars movies or a Patriots game, correcting friends on their TV show references, or talking about words that he’d like to add to the English dictionary (his latest crusade: the word “swayze” as a verb).
Andrés is a technology enthusiast and researcher. He likes to understand how things work, why they work, and why it’s necessary for them to work.
Raised in San Francisco, Andrés has a background in computer science and philosophy, and a penchant for reading English classics just to act like a snob about the fact that he’s read them.
Kait cares about the modern workplace and how it evolved from the cubicle to the open office and now to something next. She is deeply connected with workplace experts and knows the latest trends and best practices.
An avid knitter, she’s so far decked out half the office in her handmade hats and scarves, and is regularly seen longboarding over to the fabric shop at lunchtime to replenish her stock.
Ashley cares about education and writing, and makes sure that all the courses we publish are readable and convey their intended meaning properly.
When she’s not picking articles apart word by word for proper grammar and diction, she’ll either be brewing her own (loose leaf!) tea, reading a sci-fi novel, or reminiscing about the four blissful years she spent in Florence drinking wine and sitting in coffee shops (and other things?)
