Title: Finance Director
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Describe your role at Kisi. What does a typical day look like for you?
Normally, I eat some spreadsheets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
What has your experience been working with a remote international team?
In my opinion, working remotely has more good points than bad points. My favorite point is the flexible working time. The worst thing is the lack of contact with other people.
I think you can learn a lot from different people from different cultures and that’s like traveling, it's great and opens your mind.
What aspect of Kisi’s culture keeps you at the company?
Honestly I think that the people are the main asset this company has. Everybody is participating so much in the company activities and they are so nice that working is a piece of cake.
I think Kisi has an amazing future and I want to help to reach it.
Kisi defines its values as Forward, Human, Responsible, and Trusted. Which one do you feel you resonate with the most?
I’m 100% aligned to these values, but I recognize myself basically in two: Human - I try to be as kind as possible and help as much as needed and Trusted - I try to accomplish all my commitments on time.
What would you tell any possible future team members about your team?
Here at Kisi we will work hard and sometimes work into the night but we should have a good time. We must help each other and I empower all my team members, but I’m always available for help.
What advice would you give to yourself when you were getting started early in your career?
Don’t be afraid, work hard and try to focus on your goals. When I finished my finance studies I was sure that I wanted to work at an international company.
What is one thing more people do not know about you?
Some years ago, I started practicing magic (especially card magic). It’s true that the pandemic faded it out a bit. I need to go back to my routine and practice daily.
What is your current favorite TV show/podcast/book?
I love true crime and horror books.
My favorite podcasts are ‘Popcast’ and ‘60 Songs That Explain the 90’s’,
I’m a superfan of Stranger Things, Money Heist or Squid Game.
What can you usually be found doing on the weekend?
Normally I’m gardening or taking care of my animals (14-year-old daughter, 1 dog, 2 cats, 13 chickens).
