We're excited to kick off 2024 with two major updates: Now, you can use First to arrive schedules to keep doors unlocked only when authorized staff is around. Plus, the much-anticipated Kisi & Slack integration is now live, providing real-time insights into Kisi events and alert policy notifications directly within your Slack workspace.
Push Kisi alerts and events into your Slack channels
Join the growing number of users who have already adopted our Slack integration. Based on the feedback, we have now made it even better by adding an option to send Alert policy notifications to Slack channels. Upgrade your Slack integration by toggling the switch in your alert policy and integration settings.
If you haven't tried it yet, you can connect Kisi and Slack in less than 2 minutes to automatically receive Kisi events and alert policy notifications directly in your Slack channels.

Easily delay or end an active Unlock schedule based on staff presence
With First to Arrive schedules, you ensure that Unlock schedules activate only when at least one authorized user is physically present. Use them to:
- Postpone a planned Unlock schedule until the first authorized unlock at the Kisi reader
- Terminate an active Unlock schedule earlier as the last person departs the facility.

Offline mode / Offline cache on the Kisi reader. It’s great to know that if your space loses internet connection for hours, users can still access their space. - Do you have a favorite word in another language?
Schadenfreude - I learned German for 4 years when I was a teenager and my favourite thing about the language is how many words can be used to describe a set of complex emotions, feelings, or overall activities. Schadenfreude is funny so I particularly like that one. - What's your favorite hobby?
Swimming! I used to do it competitively when I was younger. Last year I did 2000 meters in open water by myself and saw a stingray! It was awesome. - Your favorite recipe?
I don't follow a specific recipe but my kitchen specialty is oven-baked salmon over pesto pasta. I love the creaminess in the overall dish. I also add cheese to all of my pasta recipes (yes, even the ones with fish, sorry Italian cuisine). Ask me if you want insider tricks ;) - Share a photo of your pet.
