As a company with offices in New York and Stockholm as well as remote employees, we have some pretty amazing people with many backgrounds and different personalities on the team.

Our Employee Spotlight Series focuses on exactly these people. This time the spotlight is on Alberto, who lives in Copenhagen, Denmark to learn more about him and his work here at Kisi.

What brought you to Kisi?

My passion for access control systems of course! Just kidding, I was actually lucky enough to work on a small project for Kisi back in January and loved the company’s approach to marketing right away.

What's your position here at Kisi and what do you do?

I am taking care of marketing on the user acquisition side. That means making sure more and more people get to know our product from different channels (SEO, referral, etc.) and monitor user behavior to maximize conversions after that.

Biggest thing you’ve learned so far? Anything you were surprised by?

Biggest surprise: how working remotely can be as efficient (if not even more) as when you are physically sitting with your team. I was not sure what to expect before starting but this has been working out extremely well.

That’s awesome! What did you do before this?

I joined Kisi after coming back from 3 months of traveling in Europe and Asia, but before that I was working for a startup in Berlin.

What do you like most about what you do?

What I love the most about online marketing is that almost every action taken can be quantitatively measured in terms of impact, and using such data to grow a business is the fun part.

What’s your favorite part of working at Kisi?

The amazing colleagues and the pace at which we are growing.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Mostly enjoying the city - Copenhagen has a lot to offer - but I also love to travel when possible.

What is one thing on your bucket list?

Hard to pick as there’s plenty, but one thing I want to do over the next year or two is visiting Japan.

Do you have any advice for prospective candidates, looking to join Kisi?

Anyone with a get-things-done mentality will love working at Kisi.
