What are Account Panels in my Access System?

Within your access and security network, account panels are the devices that keep track of the comings and goings of cardholders. Every time an event occurs, including access to a physical space being granted or denied by a reader, the associated account panel sends that information to a receiver, which is keeping track of reports from every account panel and point of entry in the space.

With this information, you can keep track of a certain amenity’s popularity, peak use times, and even the cardholders who are being denied entry, which will help you make informed decisions about how to limit or expand its access, or even update its capabilities. Reports are sent via an authorized path within your own system, whether that is through a phone line, a direct wire, or your local area network (LAN), making setup and security both easy and effective.
