Door Strike

Access control systems are an increasingly popular part of the modern office, a perfect combination of software and hardware. It can seem like a complicated concept, but the device that keeps unwanted visitors out of certain spaces is refreshingly simple. Door strikes are mechanical devices that keep a door locked. You can choose to restrict access to spaces within your facility for many reasons, whether it’s for security, scheduling, or ease of use. Door strikes make this possible through means that are electronic, magnetic, or both. Each strike is connected to a card reader that will either grant or deny access to a cardholder who requests access. The door will remain firmly shut until someone with the correct level of access presents their card, which triggers the mechanism to unlock the space. For amenities like private offices and popular conference rooms, door strikes ensure that use of these spaces is strictly prohibited to only the people who are supposed to use them.
