eCard in Access Control

eCards are like an electronic business card. They are a file that specifies information such as a person’s name, organization, and any other personal information they wish to include as well. Very often, people will choose to attach eCards to their email messages, which act as a kind of digital introduction or sign-off at the end. Within an office environment, they work well as a refresher of someone’s qualifications or interests, and can even be used as part of an onboarding process.

eCards are becoming increasingly popular as a way to cut down on paper use as well. Instead of printing a stack of 500 business cards, for example, you can instead design a digital representation of that card instead. This is good for the environment, but can also allow you and your company to avoid the hassle of printing new business cards every time someone’s phone number, title, or office changes.
