Instant Arm

Instant arming is an action that immediately arms the alarms in an area. In an instance of a security breach or major safety issue, instant arming prevents any kind of delay in activating every alarm in a space, immediately making your space safer for everyone inside and making it harder for any intruder to escape or access private areas. As opposed to scheduling a time of day to arm alarms, like the end of the work day, this action is used for emergencies or extenuating circumstances.

For example, if someone wanders off from a tour and you do not know where they are within your space, you can instant arm the facility and wait for them to pop up, either by swiping their access card or by triggering any other kind of alarm. For facilities that handle sensitive data or information, this is especially useful and only possible in offices that have installed access control systems.
