Uninterruptible Power Supply

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) means that a device will continue to provide power to its attached devices even in the event of an outage. This is a crucial concept in access control systems, which need a constant supply of energy to work. If a power outage were ever to strike an office outfitted with electronic access systems and door locks, the people inside or outside would not be trapped. Instead, thanks to UPS, the key devices will remain functional, allowing employees to leave their locked offices, elevators, or parking garages.

While this is a great security feature, it is also a key selling point. Anyone who is worried about power outages can rest easy knowing that they will not be forced to remain inside or outside of a space waiting for the power to come back. It’s an important feature that only makes your space safer and much more marketable.
