At Kisi, we’re constantly developing new ways to deliver better data and more complete visibility into your workplace operations. To this end, we’re happy to announce the new In-and-Out Tracking feature. Gain real-time occupancy data that is automatically recorded and organized for easy monitoring within your Kisi dashboard.
You can now leverage Kisi Readers in combination with our out-of-the-box Capacity Management feature to get more accurate occupancy insights. By installing Kisi Readers on both sides of your door, you can track exactly when a user enters and exits your space. In-and-Out Tracking doesn't require a Kisi Controller, only two Kisi Reader Pros. Checkout readers provide you with:
- Accurate live capacity readings
- Occupancy trends
- Entry restrictions when at maximum capacity
The occupancy data you gather from in-and-out tracking give you even deeper analytics and reporting within your Kisi dashboard. You can easily identify trends like average time spent in your spaces, peak occupancy, and daily usage trend.
You can use this data to plan staffing, space layouts, hours of operation, and more. In-and-out tracking with Kisi eliminates the guesswork in space, occupancy, and security planning.
Note: Kisi does not substitute time tracking software, but shows a history of access and exit events associated with timestamps per each door and space. This can be crucial for specific areas (storage, server room, etc.) as well as to identify unusual accesses (at night or weekends) or simply to export the timestamps once a month and match them up with actual time tracking data.
