Turn membership status into door access with the GymPoint and Kisi integration. Active members can enter using a fob, keycard, phone, or personal QR pass, while access is automatically revoked for frozen, canceled, or overdue memberships. Every door entry can also become an attendance check-in in GymPoint, giving staff visibility into both successful and denied entry attempts.

With access management running automatically, gyms can offer extended or 24/7 hours without adding front-desk coverage or requiring members to manage a second app or account.

How the GymPoint + Kisi integration works

Access permissions in Kisi stay aligned with membership and billing status in GymPoint. Different membership plans can be mapped to different Kisi door groups, while configurable grace periods determine when overdue accounts lose access.

Members have several ways to enter. Fobs and keycards can be assigned directly from their GymPoint profile, members can unlock doors from the GymPoint member portal, and personal QR passes can be used with QR-capable Kisi Terminal readers. Phone unlocking can also include optional location verification.

Once members enter, their door activity is recorded as an attendance check-in in GymPoint. Staff can also see denied entry attempts and their reason, such as an overdue payment or frozen membership.
