Movena

Bring memberships, bookings, and physical access together with Movena and Kisi.

From joining a gym to booking a training session and walking through the door, Movena and Kisi help create a more connected member journey. Movena manages access eligibility based on memberships, bookings, and staff-controlled enrolment, while Kisi handles the physical access infrastructure.

As those conditions change, Movena automatically grants or revokes the access it manages in Kisi. This reduces the need for staff to maintain member information across separate systems while giving operators control over which members participate in access control.

How the Movena + Kisi integration works

Operators decide which members are enrolled in Access Control rather than automatically provisioning everyone with a membership or booking. Once enrolled, eligible membership plans can provide ongoing facility access, while eligible bookings can grant time-bounded access around scheduled training sessions.

Movena keeps these permissions aligned as memberships, bookings, and Access Control settings change. It can also check available Kisi user capacity before provisioning multiple users and reuse an existing Kisi user when a member can be safely matched.

The integration only manages Kisi resources and access identified as Movena-managed. Existing Kisi configurations remain untouched, while Kisi continues to manage doors, readers, controllers, schedules, and physical access rules.

About Movena

Movena is an operating platform for modern fitness businesses, serving boutique studios, independent gyms, and multi-location operators across Pilates, yoga, CrossFit, boxing, martial arts, strength and conditioning, and personal training.
