We researched other cloud-based solutions, but we did a lot more research and we talked to some of our friends with enterprise usage. They were all utilizing Kisi and liked the control they had through the system. The biggest thing is that Kisi continues to advance our product.
We’re an unmanned gym with an open layout, so people can come and go as they please. The facility is set up with 24/7 access for some members, and the rest we restrict from 4 AM to 10 PM. Kisi allows us to enforce this membership differentiation. We also use Kisi to track hotspots in the gym, that way we can see the flow of the gym, cap membership and understand our peak hours.
We rent out a room in the back of the gym to a therapist, so Kisi allows him to access the space whenever he needs it. Since our tenant and his clients use Kisi to come through the front door it gives us the ability to track their ins and outs.
From a liability standpoint, for our insurance, we have to know who’s coming in and out of the facility and Kisi lets us know exactly who entered.
Adding users is an extremely quick process. Using Kisi allows us to decrease operational costs and increase revenue, since we don’t need a front desk person and can keep the facility unmanned. I also use Kisi to unlock the door remotely if someone forgets their phone.
